Healing Liquid

Liquid that, when drunk, gives one's body rapid regenerative properties and a lot of energy. It is also dangerous in large quantities, however, as it also increases reproduction rates of all organisms living inside that body, such as bacteria, parasites or diseases. Healing liquid appears like a fairly viscous, translucent material with a strange light grey colour. It is normally filled with a large number of very small chunks of organic material which many organisms can use to harvest biomass. It is more viscous than liquids like water but will still flow very easily, it is much less viscous than syrup or honey. However, despite its many uses in the biology of many organisms, it only works on silicon based lifeforms such as Saelians because Cela features primarily silicon based life. The materials that comprise it are not compatable with other biochemistries. However, advanced medical technologies, especially that of the saelians, have managed to create similar materials for other biochemistries. Currently there is a verison of healing liquid for almost all species of the HF. These can have different appearances though, and some could resemble a sort of cream while others could have exotic colours like bright red or deep blue. It can vary significantly.
  It is sometimes taken along with antibiotics in order to reduce microbial growth rate within the host person while allowing the host to absorb it. In a war setting, it can be used to help wounded soldiers heal more rapidly. From an injury that normally takes several months to heal, adding healing liquid can make it heal in approximately 7 weeks, though again accelerating microbe growth as well, risking infection.
