Experiment 244-G

A failed experiment of the Harkas attempting to create a highly advanced purposed organism acting as a fast but stealthy war creature.

The experiment was primarily known for its very bad smell at the time, but as it managed to kill and eat 21 people, that is what it became best known for through history. This was a lesson that the harki had to learn to improve on their bioengineering capabilities without causing similar events to happen again in the future. At the time, the harki were still splintered and have not yet unified, and the Hyperion Federation is still unknown to them. 

It had 4 legs and took up a mostly black colour. This was intended to emit little infrared light, instead causing the creature to radiate heat directly upwards where it would have a smaller impact on their heat signature. It as also meant to have chromatophores allowing them to change colour to camouflage from visual sight more easily, but it evidently did not work out that way.

The experiment creature was eventually dispatched by a much larger purposed organism that the Harki were much more familiar with. Its smell caused a reaction in the creature that killed it which soon caused the larger creature to retreat.
