Eraklanean

Ethnicity of Suons which inhabit the Tebburus continent of Eraklan.

Eraklaneans are quite easy to identify even compared to other suons. Their skin colour is normally black or very dark, and they have light blue bioluminescence. Though their purely black skin makes them easy to identify, they can camouflage well in dark environments with bioluminescent life, otherwise their own bioluminescence would give them away, probably even from long distance.

The Eraklaneans are also well known to have kickstarted the great particle physics renaisance of the unification war. They built a massive number of huge particle colliders, many of which were designed to manufacture exotic states of matter on an industrial scale for use in many technologies like Hardlight Bridges and Tachyon Cannons . This has given their people a great importance in the war, and some may even argue that Eraklan was a vital ally of Tastein in the closing years of the war, giving Tastein the slight advantage it needed in the war to conquer its final enemy, the Ooblarans.

Many Eraklanean people have an intense fascination with particle science. This has become very baked into their culture and most eraklaneans are either particle physicists or work to keep the particle colliders operational. The particle physicists are very well regarded in their culture so many people want to become physicists which leads to intense competition, so Eraklan had many of the best particle physicists on the planet. Even in current times, they still have a large number of particle colliders on their continent.

Despite this, the Tastein nation needed to expand. Before this point in time, Tastein had to integrate Eraklan into itself through war. Tastein declared war shortly after they unified and won from the very large number of angles they could attack from. Still, they allowed Eraklan to have its own cultural identity as long as they did not interfere with Tastein's goals of global conquest. Tatein had no intention to oppress any nation any more than was required to win the war.
