Whispering Step

The first step on the Pilgrimage to Enlightenment is part of Master Vhanu's great monastery. This temple is carved into the terraced cliffs of low western mountains. The wind whistles through chimes and reeds, gently pushing the monks starting their journey in its halls.
The first two spiritual ranks train here, learning discipline and purpose. At its center lies the Garden of Echoes, where pressure-sensitive stones sing when being wrongly stepped upon. Mastery is marked by dancing across these stones in complete silence.
Some choose to stay in the tranquility here, while others take the lessons learned and move to the more punishing monasteries beyond.
“Stillness is not the absence of motion - it is the harmony between body and world.” - Motto of The Whispering Step
