The Still Core

The final Monastery, home to Master Vhanu, is comprised of concentric rings, each quieter as you near the center. In the center is the Chamber of Eternal Breath, where Master Vhanu resides. The story of how, through training and perseverance, Vhanu not only found enlightenment, but surpassed it and entered godhood is told throughout the halls.
The Still Core is where masters are made. Upon gaining access, monks are allowed an audience with Master Vhanu. He will answer one question, although not necessarily one asked by the monk. Monks then choose to go out to other monasteries or continue their training more deeply. In each ring are challenges that are not spoken of, and each requires the monk to be more focused and still. Some enter only a few layers and return wielding ki in ways unable to be taught, while others enter the halls and never leave.
Some suspect the Still Core watches over the balance between the other States, intervening only if that balance is at extreme risk.
“Stillness is the source of all motion, equilibrium the seed of form.” - Motto of The Still Core
