Arc 2 - Episode #072

28th of Fara'ure

Investigating the large box standing propped up against a tree, Donovan pries it open with a crowbar. With the lid cracked open, a second well sealed box is revealed within.
After some discussion, the party decides to open the inner box as well. With some creativity and brute force, a well dressed corpse is revealed.
Information gathered leads the group to believe it may be one of The Collectors and that the corpse may be carrying a horrible disease, kept in check by a magical amulet.

 

Discretion used, Uboh uses his magic to open a large hole and the boxes, closed as well as they can be are buried.
The group moves on toward Donhurst.

  1st of Alta'orn - early evening
Arriving at the gates of Donhurst, the party finds the city locked down. Uboh scales the outer wall and lets the rest of the group in. They begin to search the town, finding the corpses of horrible monsters and decide the temple may be the safest place to rest. A knock at the door reveals a man standing in the rain who enters and introduces himself as Ripley, the Mayor of Donhurst. He tries to send the party away but they refuse. He offers to take them to see The Countess, who has claimed the city with The Fang as partners.
