Arc 1 - Episode #106

After getting the bad news from the witch, Khoury begins to make her way out of the swamp with the party trying to keep up with her. Craig and Braylon question Daegon about their next move.

Khoury finds herself at Sgt Bakers old camp where there are piles of Warforged scrap and much of the area is scorched from Straad's attacks.

Khoury eventually hides behind a tree but Acteronis approaches her while the party hangs back. She threatens Acteronis with her bow but he stays close and he convinces her that she isn't alone and to allow them to try to help her.

By the time they decide to keep moving, night is falling and after some debate Khoury directs them to a nearby cave rather than camping in the open. During the night, a large dire bear begins nosing around the cave and everyone is alerted. Khoury manages to take the bear and they give it some dragon jerky and name it Fluffy.

The next morning, the party keeps moving through the Evergreen towards the direction Daegon's bracelet is pulling him. Aralove begins to recognize the area and finally they locate the entrance and go inside. Inside, they encounter Finway who explains the gate and Daegon gives him the book he found.

Finway gives Aralove a message from Poe and explains that Malchus may have been part of why all of the Warforged are dead. She leaves the room and Finway follows. Layla slowly and quietly follows as well. After overhearing the conversation about Malchus between Aralove and Finway, Layla turns and runs purposefully out of the cave...
