The Cosmic Order
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
The Cosmic Order refers to the fundamental roles deities play in governing the physical laws of the world. This includes the cyclical changing of seasons, overseen by the gods of the seasons (Ehlonna, Thea, Morana/Thrym and Helios), the movement of the Sun attributed to Helios/Stronmaus, and the celestial dance of the Moons of Theras
While Mechanus is heavily involved in ordaining and maintaining this Cosmic Order, its implications extend further, usually by the Axiomites.
Gods could theoretically deny access to elements under their control to disliked or opposed races or enemies. However, such actions are exceedingly rare due to the high risk of retaliation from other deities, potentially leading to widespread conflict to restore balance. This doesn't mean it's never occurred, but it is an exceptional event. Furthermore, the pantheon generally strives for mutual stability, ensuring that if one deity acts disruptively, others will likely intervene to maintain the established order.
