Stone Sludge
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Stone Sludge, also known as fuilbuaic in Grausur and in Paqusia, is an organic material made from the fermented and cold-dried excrement of Stone Giant. Known for its unique and pungent smell, stone sludge is most commonly used for creating antidiarrheal medicine.
History & Usage
History
Stone sludge was used since ancient times, both on Epeoris and on Rakion by nearly every humanoid species. It's use was widespread throughout the Menedynn Empire, with several manuscripts describing how to process it into medicine, and the knowledge of how to differentiate it from regular stone giant excrement (by smell) seemingly being common knowledge.
Over time, however, more potent and less objectionable methods of concocting antidiarrheals were developed, most notably by cultivating certain herbs with the help of druids, and the use of stone sludge is in constant decline.
In 1050 AB, due to the rebelling Circle of the Locust attempts to damage crops and produce in the Principality of Sabersycha, the vast majority of the principality’s druids were occupied with damage control and prevention. Since usually antidiarrheals are made from medicinal herbs cultivated by druids, there was a significant lack of them; Saros Lemmdy Svatson, a kyth warder of Szörnvodaz, together with Venus and a group of adventurers, journeyed to the Kadhroldar Ridge to gather some stone sludge.

Uses
Other than the production of antidiarrheals, there is no known use for stone sludge; the fact that there is a use at all has been deemed "noteworthy" by scholars. It's literally giant shit. It's a wonder it's good for anything.
