Seildrys Veilweaver
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Seildrys Veilweaver was a Duskthorn Nymph Archfey known as The Blooming Lie, famed for her mastery of twilight glamour and political deception. She orchestrated the grand betrayal that stripped Helena of her demon lord status, rallying Abyssal rivals to destroy her. But when Helena rose from the ashes as an Archfey, she turned Seildrys’s schemes against her, striking her down with the very nemesis-strike the nymph had once planned for her. Seildrys perished in the Feywild’s Gloamwood Glades, her death cementing Helena’s ascent as the first among Archfey.
Unlike many Fey and espacially nymphs, Seildrys was obsessed not with fleeting beauty but with control; The ability to dictate the flow of events, to set pieces on the board long before her enemies realized they were in a game. Her webs of intrigue were spun between the Feywild and other planes, and it was through these interplanar dealings that she first learned of Helena the Crimson Temptress, a demon lord whose mastery of beauty rivaled her own.

Personal history
Seildrys Veilweaver was born from the mingling of twilight and the first thorn that grew in the gardens of the Feywild. As a Duskthorn Nymph, she embodied both the enchanting allure of dusk and the hidden danger of a venomous bloom. From her earliest days, she ruled her own secluded court in the Gloamwood Glades, where she surrounded herself with courtiers bound by silken oaths and veiled threats.
Seeing Helena the Crimson Temptress then a rising Demon Lord, as both a rival and a threat, Seildrys masterminded the greatest deception of her life. Before their infamous rivalry erupted into open betrayal, Helena and Seildrys’s conflict began with an act of deliberate cruelty and a dangerous underestimation. Seildrys, then a powerful but not yet Archfey, sought to wound Helena where she believed even a demon lord could bleed: the heart. Through careful seduction, layered glamour, and the manipulation of shared allies, Seildrys stole away Helena’s favored consort, a mortal lover whose rare talent for shaping dreamscapes Helena prized above all others.
This audacity brought Seildrys the fame and political leverage she needed to take her first great leap in power. The courtly scandal bolstered her standing in the Feywild, cementing alliances and earning her recognition as an Archfey in her own right. It was a victory written in whispers and laughter and, Seildrys believed, one Helena would be too proud to answer directly.
But Helena was a demon lord of the Abyss, and she understood vengeance as an art form. She did not march her armies into the Feywild; instead, she slipped her influence in like a seed of rot. Through subtle pacts, cursed gifts, and whispers carried on enchanted winds, Helena began corrupting everyone dear to Seildrys. Trusted advisors, beloved courtiers, even the handmaidens who tended the Gloamwood Glades, one by one, they fell under Helena’s sway. Some became obsessed with her beauty, others craved her promises, and a few turned outright traitor, delivering Seildrys’s secrets into her hands.
By the time Seildrys realized the depth of the corruption, her inner circle was rotted through. She had gained her Archfey title, but at the cost of watching her court’s foundations crumble beneath her, a debt Helena would ensure was never forgotten.
After that Seildrys seduced Helena’s Abyssal enemies into alliance, gifting them the secret of her nemesis-strike, the one surefire way to strip her of her demon lord power. The plan succeeded, and Helena fell from her Abyssal throne, cast adrift in the planes. But the victory was short-lived. In the Feywild, Helena shed her demonic essence and rose anew as an Archfey, wielding the very magic Seildrys had hoped to keep from her. In the final confrontation, Helena turned the nemesis-strike back upon its architect. Caught in her own web, Seildrys was slain beneath the moonlit boughs of her glades, her twilight glamour dissolving into nothing. Her death became the moment Helena cemented her rule, claiming the title of first among Archfey. Yet some whisper that in the deepest shadow of the Feywild, a single thorn of Seildrys still grows. and that from it, the Blooming Lie may one day blossom again.
