Pananimon of the Grey Shore
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
The Pananimon of the Grey Shore is a temple in Panta's Temple District built by Mith-Quessir refugees after The Elder's War. The temple is purposefully left in an unfinished state.
Name
The name pananimon is contrasted with pantheon; that is, rather than being a place of worship for all the gods, it is a place of worship for all entities worshipped by Mith-Quessir animists.Purpose / Function
The building is dedicated with hundreds of shrines to the Fey and nature, each having its own unique features that facilitate the worshipping of the beings revered by Prasri and Mith-Quessiri animists.
Approximately a third of the pantheon’s interior is unfinished; some areas aren't tiled, others are left with scaffolding, and some merely lack plaster. This is not due to lack of funds or workforce, but rather a symbolic choice; ever since the Coblyn Schism, the elves of Epeoris have ceased worshipping The Seldarine, the elven pantheon. In return, the elven gods have also ceased caring for the elves of Epeoris, which is believed to be the reason the elves have lost their dominant status on the continent; the pananimon will remain in its unfinished state until a day comes where The Seldarine answer the prayers of the grey elves again.
