Order of the Iron Wolf
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
The Order of the Iron Wolf are pack-hunters and protectors of the frontier. They are disciplined, pragmatic, and deeply loyal, to each other and to the innocent.
They hunt not for glory, but because no one else will.
They keep several bases and strongholds along the Keatian Hinterlands and Keatian Cape mountain ranges. Though, they establish several points, same as clandestine organizations in far away lands, especially in shared bastions co-maintained with allied orders.

Initiation - The Rite of the Bound Fang
The initiation of the Iron Wolf is called The Rite of the Bound Fang, a test not of ferocity, but of clarity under pain and obedience to the pack.Preparation
Before the rite, initiates are grouped into packs of three to five, chosen deliberately to mix temperaments, strengths, and weaknesses. For three days they train together continuously: Weapon drills, formation movement, silent communication, coordinated hemocraft exercises under supervision. Hemocraft is not withheld. It is introduced early, deliberately, and without comfort and the purpose is simple: No Iron Wolf stands alone. The Blood Oath
On the fourth night, each initiate is brought before the Pack-Warden. A shallow but deliberate cut is made across the forearm, and the initiate is required to invoke hemocraft for the first time without a weapon, shaping their own blood into a binding sigil upon the ground. This sigil represents: Their willingness to sacrifice vitality, their ability to control pain and their intent to serve the Order, not themselves Failure to shape the sigil cleanly results in dismissal, which is permanent. The Trial of the Fang
The pack is then released into a controlled hunting ground, often ruins, forests, or abandoned fortifications. Within waits a dangerous quarry: A monster, a corrupted beast, or a magically reinforced construct. The quarry cannot be defeated by individual prowess alone. Each initiate must wound themselves to empower their rites, share blood-enhanced tactics with their pack and rotate leadership as conditions change. Any initiate who hoards strength, refuses to bleed, or breaks formation is marked as Pack-Broken and removed. The Binding
After the hunt, the surviving initiates gather. Each cuts their palm and presses it against a forged iron token, pooling blood together. Through a final hemocraft rite, the blood is drawn into the iron, permanently staining it. This becomes the Fang Mark, worn thereafter as proof of initiation.Completion
The Pack-Warden declares: “The fang cuts deep, but never alone. The blood is yours, but the hunt is ours".Failure
Those who refuse to bleed are dismissed, those who act alone endanger the pack and are expelled and those who lose control of hemocraft are restrained and scarred, then dismissed permanently.Training and Practices
Martial Discipline
Emphasis on Coordinated formations, precision strikes against known weak points.Hemocraft
Shared rites that empower group tactics and Blood curses that mark and track prey.Alchemy
Iron Wolf alchemy focuses on endurance, resilience, and resistance to fear. Their brews are reliable, if inelegant.Culture
View of Blood Magic
Blood Magic is a tool, dangerous but acceptable when it serves the pack. Reckless self-harm is forbidden, as it weakens the whole. They have a quiet accord with the Order of the Pale Owl, where the Pale Owl provides intelligence and identification; the Iron Wolf executes. They respect one another deeply, though Iron Wolves often find Owl methods overly cautious. In addition, they have a mutual distruct with the Order of the Lycan Chain, where Iron Wolves value discipline but fear loss of control. Lycan Chain members resent this suspicion, yet frequently fight alongside Wolves against massive threats.Public Agenda
