Gnoll
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Gnolls are a species of vicious humanoids that resemble human-hyena hybrids, known for their proclivity to violence and cold brutal efficiency. Gnolls act like hyenas as much as they act like humans, mixing the worse of both worlds.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Gnolls are powerfully built, standing taller, bulkier, and furrier than a human, with a noticeable hyena-like hunch to their back. Their torso is more humanoid than hyena-like though disproportionally large and covered in mangy fur. Their arms are muscular, ending in clawed hands as dexterous as a human's, and their legs are double-jointed like a hyena's, giving them an odd lopping-hopping gait when they run.
Gnolls are sexually monomorphic. Females are as large as males and possess a pseudo-penis, lacking enlarged breasts, and the gonads (testes and ovaries) are internal.
