Antekadian Barrows

Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Antekadian Barrows are barrow mounds littered around Lake Kadia that predate the Conquest of Ader. Antekadian barrows are of great interest to Kadian historians and the Aderian Survey Corps, and both offer lucrative sums for exploring these barrows.

Dangers

Most antekadian barrows are dangerous to explore or venture into. Cave-ins are common due to the barrows not being maintained, and most of them require either excavation or tunnel-delving to access. Furthermore, wraiths are known to inhabit and haunt most of them.   Barrow Hunting, a method developed by the Kyth Warders of Szörnvodaz, is the most common method of mitigating the dangers posed by the undead that haunt these barrows.
