Baringrel Goldenbrew is a middle-aged dwarf still mourning the recent passing of his father Nordack, the patriarch before him. His whole life was spent in preparation of taking over the family business, but now that the day has finally come he feels desperately unprepared and horribly incompetent. His feelings are due to little more than misplaced grief and a lack of self-confidence - he is managing quite well, especially considering the restrictions placed on his business’s communications outside of Esset-Khal. Baringrel abhors sycophancy and appreciates brutal honesty, though he is often too polite to deliver bad news himself.
