Opharrian
Oppharians exist in 10 tribes averaging about 90 to 160 people establish a genuine prosperous society. The most problems they had were the occasional personal issues with members of different tribes.
History They flourished in the snow by themselves. Until they began to be constantly attacked by an enemy that came out of nowhere. By this time they weren't just tribes, they had buildings, miltias, trade, towns. They were defending themselves well, but the attacks were getting more heinous. Fighting in the towns and attacking unarmed people. Out of the blue another group comes along, attacking and capturing all the ones who were fighting the tribes. They laid in wait until the perfect time to hop in. They later released them when out of sight. They earned goodwill with the tribes. And spent time within the different towns learning what they could the leaders, guards, lay of the land, everything. They learned enough to take control and they did. Once a year the tribes met and at the conclusion of the meeting, a very emotional song is sung. Deep, powerful, inspirational and bittersweet. And at the zenith is exactly when they struck, they poisoned a good deal of the men, beating the rest into submission. With only a few escaping. They turned the rest into slaves but not in the usual way. They werent bound in chains, or beaten. They were kept in a state of sedation, half awake half sleep. Just awake enough to follow orders. They were kept fully covered in machine like armor to give the appearance of being non human, which they were in a sense. After ten years the men have completely taken over and rule the town like lords. The ones who escaped launch attacks whenever they can trying to free their families and kill the captors. Desperate and angry, unhinged and determined with tears in their eyes. Because most of the time they end up fighting the ones they're trying to help.
