East Branch

The second tallest of the Celestial Grove, the east branch sits at 27 stories high. They are closest elves to the capital of Serferine and are the traders and diplomats with other peoples.

Defences

Not only do they elven guards hidden around their forest but due to their friendship with Serferine they have official guard post stationed at the entrance to deter anyone trying to enter elven territory with permission.

Industry & Trade

They trade and negotiate very often with the surrounding towns and cities. They make deals for wood, plants, animals only found in the forest. Everything most people wont have legal access to the east branch provides.

History

After humans arrived in Serferine, the east branch elves had the great fortune to meet with the Lanlu. Who were very respectful of there customs, and the elves helped the humans prosper with trades of knowledge and customs, games and spells. They gave the humans the lay of the land and helped them pick their capital. They did not endure the problems the West Branch had with humans, and were very grateful for it. This led to the elves becoming more cosmopolitan than the others, relaxing their rules on entry and trade, and adopting various cultural aspects from the new peoples they were now meeting.

Architecture

While traditional architecture is still present, East branch has adapted a few uses for less natural stone and wood structures, not alot but enough for the other branches to take notice. While mostly everything they use is made of wood, it's not used in the way humans do. Which sticks out in the middle of the usual elven homes and buildings.
