Etzayangale
Where is Etzayangale?
Just west of Xanasal and still along the coast of Kelkaith, Etzayangale is another port-side community.
How is Etzayangale classified?
With no sign of a land god, Etzayangale is straightforwardly Missing.
What kind of economy and population does Etzayangale have?
Visitors to Etzayangale are often stunned to see how many openly decayed people are walking about. Many of the residents give the impression of having aged dramatically. Some are obviously undead. Outright jeweled skeletons are occasionally accepted as though they were normal people here, and even ghosts (though rare) are a bizarrity not unheard of in public. Meanwhile, nonsapient undead are accepted in the labor force and as personal servants, being available for rent at public-facing shops.
All of this thrives under the aegis of military protection from nearby Xanasal, which lacks a necromantic academy but protects the people of Etzayangale when they attend their own. The ports of Etzayangale are unusually fortified, and there are landside fortifications as well. Far from restricting the peoples' freedom, these fortifications are regarded with a substantial patriotic zeal for defending the peoples' freedom, as the local government (controlled from Xanasal) is defensive of peoples' rights to engage in peaceful conducts that are otherwise suppressed across Theoma.
It's said that this is one of the theomes where Fatebreaker shrines are placed in pantheon rooms of houses, but Agykalravor (land god of Xanasal) has asked people not to do that, swearing that Fate is not intrinsically against necromancers who are not harming others.
