The Westrun Pantheon
The Westrun Pantheon was initially organized by the Order of Aristea following its creation during the fall of the Free Cities Alliance, representing the many different religions found within its officially allied borders. Unlike the pantheons of its neighbors, the Westrun Pantheon does not forbid the inclusion of entities some may consider evil in nature, nor does it only worship those still living. Many of the gods officially included are former bearers of Divine Mantles, and others are mere demigods that have a large enough following to be considered of importance. It is a pantheon designed to encompass as many cultures as possible, and its composition is fluid as more cities and factions join the Order willingly.
As a direct result of the Cindrian Plague and the birth of King Korrigan Voletaria, the Stormlord has gained much popularity with those who live under the Westrun Pantheon. Even with the disbandment of the Order and infighting between its former states, none have abandoned this Pantheon, leading the many conflicts in the region to primarily be politically motivated, rather than religiously motivated. None of the former Aristean nations have willingly accepted the elven or imperial gods into the pantheon either, despite the possible alliances it could gain from their additions.
Entering the Age of Swords, the Westrun Pantheon's prime deities are the following:
- The Stormlord: God of War, Nature, and Unity.
- The Purifying Light: Goddess of Light and Purity.
- The Siblings: Twin Gods of Life and Death.
