Free Lancet
Part E-human, A-human and part monk, Free Lancet was born with the ability to dreamwalk. This ability is transferable via bloodline or given to individuals via The Celestials. The ability can also be gained via practice, birthright, artifact, potions and other methods.
Free started dreamwalking at a young age. His E-human great, great, great, great grandfather saw to this by passing on his magic through his bloodline. Unfortunately outside of dreamwalking Free has no other magical abilities – and because of this when he started seeing things the queen of Azuros didn't want him to, he had no way of protecting himself when they came.
That is until Nia appeared and began calling him her master. A mixture of kindness and pity lead to Free liberating her and several other Electroid Mechana from their Azurian masters who treated them like tools or slaves.
Free's a rather physically weak person and can't hold his own in most fights, instead being fairly strong mentally (at least in comparison to the average person) and incredibly powerful inside the dreamworld. Where some dreamwalkers fail is their ability to defend themselves in the dreamscape. Free is not one of these people. Practically invincible in the dreamworld and powerful beyond all measure, he is a force to be reckoned with in a mental battlefield.
Free, despite his adventures, really only wants a quiet, peaceful life. He has a large hand-me-down house on the hill overlooking Prayer's Rest with a greenhouse and fire pit nearby. Free spends most of his time fishing, cleaning the property and taking care of Nia, Hazy and their pet crawfish.
Relationships
History
Free and Nia had a long, complicated relationship. At first it simply started as Nia serving Free as an Electroid Mechana, but as she began to regain more and more of her humanity she started feeling strange things for him. Free for his part was confused as to what he was feeling towards her as well. Eventually the two opened up to one another before confessing underneath the twin cherry trees at Prayer's Rest.
Enjoys calling people made-up names that have no relevancies to whatever they're doing.
