Trianmye

The Horse Isle

This large island, besides being the main homeland of the island elves, is most well known for being the original homeland of the horse, and all the best horses in the world are from purebred Trianmyan stock, The Anmyan government is very zealous about keeping it that way, so they have banned the export of their best horses.

Flora and Fauna

Besides horses, there is also a most menacing species of direwolf native here, called the maned direwolf, for its lack of any manes, and generally short hair, which primarily hunted the native horse population. Now, this species of direwolf has declined significantly and has to make do with the smaller species of prey animal that also reside on the island.

The grasses here are not the same as on the continent. They are taller and thinner, and they produce white, blue, and violet flowers in the spring, which transform the plains into a vibrantly colored landscape, as far as the eye can see.

Geography

Most of the island is a flat and occasionally hilly plains region, which transitions into lush forest, and hilly terrain as it approaches the mountains in the south side of the island.
The southern coast is very wet and densely forested, wherever the jagged and rocky terrain allows it.

Rivers

The Trianmyan Aetyn and Rethyn rivers are among the grandest in the world, and both have great metropoles, cities of trade and industry, built on their mouths. These cities have a strong rivalry between them, one that at times spells rebellion.
