Reianmye
Isle of Mystics
Before the age of exploration, before the Veskaren people ventured beyond their immediate surroundings, Reianmye was thought to be the last holdout of the Mystic races. The only place they could still be found in great numbers.
Not only is this place a refuge for fae, giants, ents, and fairies, it is also a place for elementals to live freely, and mainly, the spriggans have found their eternal home here.
Mystic Defense
From the moment it was first discovered by the elves, people have been trying to settle here, but none were ever successful, even when they sent their warriors to clear out the native mystics and elementals. This task proved to be impossible.
This is not just because of the established Mystic rule here, but also because of their population density, meaning that any seafaring army would struggle to defeat them permanently, and eventually, settlers just gave up.
Geography
Much of the northern coast is smooth beach, transitioning into a plain of rolling hills and meandering rivers. This looks most attractive as a stopover point for those who travel here, but anyone who knows anything will know to resist the urge to resupply here and sail for Samiq or Fellkarth instead.
Further inland, the hills stay relatively mild until they approach the mountains, where they quickly turn steeper. On the north side, there are several impressive canyons, carved out by rivers and the passing of time.
The mountains themselves are not the tallest in the world, or the most volcanic, but they are home to a certain dragon, one of the last greater dragons of the continent.
The southern side is more rugged, with jagged coasts, rocky in most places, except for a few, where the sand take over.
This land is forested, and a most magical forest it is, as this place is home to the Fae, by far the largest population of Fae left on the continent. It is thought that ninety percent of all fae on Veskar live on Reianmye.
Off the coast, there is the mermaid sea, where merpeople can live freely. They are all actually the descendants of refugees, originally from the white sea, the Udamna Isles in particular, but they were chased off many thousands of years ago, both by Corporeals and sirens.
Hanninya
Hanninya is the ancient capital of Fae civilization, and it was long thought to be an anomaly amongst the elven reces, although now, with the discovery of the Mystic Lands, it is thought that the mystics here simply never had chance to develop as much, due to the Corporeal incursions in to their territory.
