Gath
The Lord of Wishes
Gath is the lord of the deal, he is the master of desire, and deception, he seeks people out who are in need of his services, and offers them a deal that they will certainly consider hard to ignore. He does this by observing them well and specifically approaching people who are in desperate need of assistance, making it easier for him to get what he wants.
Such deals often end with Gath claiming the soul of whoever was foolish enough to trust him, and taking them to his realm, called the tower, where he keeps them in his dungeon.
The Tower
The tower is Gath's home, it is quite huge. It is said to have a million floors, and each floor is the size of a large mansion. Although there are also theories that there aren't actually a million floors, but that new floors are created as the need for them arises. The lower floors are the dungeons, where he keeps his collection of souls, and the rest of the tower is made up of his other trophies, items he took from the world to remind him of all his contracts.
Records of these contracts are kept in the library floors, of which there are many. There, there are many scrolls, each detailing the terms of the contracts, as well as a summary of the events that followed their signing. They are neatly organized in chronological order, with the earliest on the bottom floors, and the latest ones on the highest library floor.
He generally doesn't let people into his realm, unless it is part of the contract. He doesn't appreciate uninvited visitors and is not likely to receive intruders with a warm welcome.
Contracts
When making a contract, Gath is strictly prohibited from lying to the recipients, but he is a master of manipulation, and he uses his charm, and fancy words, to make everything sound great. He is very good at using half-truths to paint a misleading picture of what people are about to get themselves into.
Following
Unlike most of the other Ynue, Gath doesn't have any followers or worshippers, in fact, he does his very best to remain anonymous and unknown, as it works against him to have a reputation, he cares nothing for the world, or ruling it, he cares only about collecting the souls of mortals. He gains pleasure from manipulating them, and seeing them realize their mistake when it is too late.
Appearance
His appearance depends on his current avatar. When outside his avatar, he is nothing but a formless entity, which is how he is in his realm.
He, like all Ynue, isn't able to come to the world physically, but he can posses an avatar, and take over their body for a time, and that is how he contacts people, he will usually only switch bodies every few decades, or if his current one become to known, or if people are suspicious of him.
He likes to take the bodies of wealthy nobles of merchants, so he can more easily get what he wants. He uses them and their past self as an asset in compelling people to sign his contract. He is only able to take the bodies of people as a result of contracts, and can't force his consciousness onto unwilling subjects without it.
Original Purpose
Yanu created Gath as his world's Idea man. He was meant to approach the smaller creations, initially the Onu, but later the Mystics, and fulfill their visions for a better world. Initially, he granted wishes, giving people what they wanted, but he quickly grew bored with this approach. He decided that if he was going to do what others wanted, he might as well have some fun with it. And that is how he first started with the contracts.
