The Declaration of Unification

Lord Olswyth Aerell declares his intention to unite the three cities of Brilon, Port Carrow, and East Riding into a kingdom to rival that of the Silatheri to the north.

In Second Age 491, a young, ambitious lord by the name of Olswyth Aerell came to power in the city of Brilon. He had ambitions far beyond that one city, and wanted to unify the south of Osteria to form a powerful new kingdom. He declared his intentions on the 10th of Earth's Rest, 492, and began the War of Brilonian Unification.
