Forest of Haerys
The Forest of Haerys is a small woodland on Arkhosia, west of Bael Turath. It is mostly uninhabited, except for a small number of reclusive druids who dedicate themselves to its protection. Many think Haerys is a potential crossing-point to the Planos Sylvanis, but the woodland's guardians refuse to confirm this, and will not let outsiders into the forest to find out for themselves.
Geography
The woodland is situated on a plateau in the center of Arkhosia. It is roughly 15 miles in diameter. At its center is a lake, the source of the river Baer, which supplies the forest's inhabitants with fresh water. From the surrounding area the forest has an almost ethereal appearance, which has led many to speculate that it holds great magical power.
Natural Resources
Scholars at the Spire of Bael Turath speculate that the forest is a crossing-point to the Plane of Fey, and have come into conflict with the druids in their attempts to survey the woodland.
