  There's a perpetual haze of disturbed dust in the air, along with a chaotic arrangement of bookcases crammed to the rafters with various books in no readily discernible order. It doesn't take long to summise that most of the books in here have been...liberated from a number of local libraries. A rear doorway, shrouded by beaded curtain, leads to a small kitchenette and separate WC/bathroom, a narrow staircase (passage made narrower due to books piled up on each step) going up, and an external door with grimy windows. Upstairs there's a small office filled with mismatching filing cabinets, and a separate store room filled with numerous boxes of books.   The exterior door leads to a small, neglected courtyard. Grass grows between worn cobblestones that surround a small, inexpensive fountain that hasn't seen water in years.   At the far side of the courtyard is Hans' Haven
