Joan is an angel, she is the angel of temperance and a psychopompt, she oversees transitions and in her case spirits. She makes sure that the dead do not walk in Boston. She has a very powerful aura one more powerful then any of the other angels and on par with Claudias. she can communicate with all spirits and necromancy / death domain magic will not work around her.

Personal history
Joan was born a noble woman in Boston. Her family ran a construction business. Joan always had a habit of sneaking out and helping the poor citizens of Boston, to her families dismay. For this reason she became quite popular and well known among the town. However her kindness would be the death of her as she passed away due to sickness she got from heading out in the winter to help the poor.
when she died her body was taken to the godforge and she was re-purposed into Temperance. She still does good through the town and still lives with her family acting as an ally
