The Book
A once beautiful but now worn manuscript, the book is a collection of notes and incantations written in Deep Speech . The contents cover a variety of topics, including a short history of the aboleths, poetry regarding the worship of Y'Chak, and even a recipe for the author's favorite soup. Most of the writing is fairly mundane, but merely looking at the written form of deep speech is enough to drive the reader to madness.
Significance
This is the book owned by Adran Naïlo , which serves as his spellbook and personal notebook. It is his primary connection to Y'Chak; without it, his madness grows unbearable.

Raw materials & Components
The book is bound in soft leather with faded gold details painted on the edges. The contents are scribbled in heavy black ink on thick paper, the edges of which are mostly tattered and torn. Over the years, Adran has added loose pages of his own notes, stuffed in between the bound pages.
