Mt. Tomid
Named after the first king of The Kingdom of Merterra , Mt. Tomid is the tallest mountain in the Tomidic mountain range.
Geography
Actually a long-dormant volcano, this mountain holds the title of tallest geographical point on the continent. Its snowy peaks soar far above the rest of the mountain range. A clear river has its source at the top of the mountain and winds down the cliffs, through Helsia City at the base of the mountain, and into the sea.
Ecosystem
Very few organisms can survive at the high altitudes and low temperatures found on Mt. Tomid. Certain evergreen trees and scraggly bushes cling to the rock closer to the base of the mountain, but the closer to the peak it is practically a barren wasteland of snow and rocks.
