Yixita
Pronounced: Yix-ee-tah
The north-most continent of The World Behind, considered uninhabitable due to the many dangers around and within it, it has a sub-arctic to arctic climate with its southern side consisting of vast stretches of taiga. Approaching via ship is risky as the ocean currents around its southern edges are unpredictable, with changing currents that are difficult to navigate while avoiding the sub-surface seamounts that threaten to tear at the hull. Shipwrecks are not an unusual find when exploring Yixita's waters, which is now most often accomplished by air.
