Soirenta
Pronounced: Swore-en-tah
The western continent of The World Behind's two main continents, it consists of two large savanna separated by a hot, humid band of swamp and muggy forest, with one definitively inland sea called The Silent Shallows, and one large lake that some argue also is an inland sea called Roaring Lake/Sea (depending on which side of the argument you're on). On the northern tip of the continent is an old mountain range that has been eroded over time, with deep and ancient roots. Along the western side of the mountains runs the Paragon river, which has carved into the earth, creating the vast Paragon Canyon.
