Kayenta

Pronounced: Kae-en-tah

The eastern of the main two continents in The World Beyond, its western edge is notable for its prominent (and still rising) volcanic mountain range. Internally from the mountains is a large swathe of desert that ends in The Azure (full name The Azure Paradise), Kayenta's inland sea. The eastern side of the continent is just as hot but has the moisture to transform it into a rain forest, which stretches northward until the climate gradually becomes less humid and more temperate in the continent's northern plains.
