Dromeus

Dromeus are omnivorous/carnivorous (depending on the family) humanoid Saurians descended from pterosaurs. They stand between 5-7 feet tall, with wingspans twice their height, but are fragile for their size due to their lightweight bones. Many have decorated crests or markings that are further emphasized with jewelry or dyes, and in some cases even carving into the crests themselves. They have the longest lifespans of the humanoid Saurians, at 300 years.
  As the strongest fliers don't have to rely on ships to cross the divides between the two continents, Dromeus are the quickest way to get news from across The World Behind. Dromeus tend to live in colonies within cities, and travel in small groups of three or four between these colonies when needed. These families may be blood relatives, platonic, or romantic, and stick together for years to decades. If the group decides upon it, the family may take an egg from the colony they're currently at to raise (being raised by the Dromeus who laid you is unusual, a bit of an oddity with implications about your mother).
