Ceratian

A herbivorous humanoid Saurian race descended from the Ceratopsia clade, they live between 100-150 years and can range from anywhere between four and seven feet in height, usually with thick hides and sturdy frames. They are known for the head crest and horn arrangements that differ across Ceratian families, with horns frequently sharpened and crests decorated to make their displays even more impressive. They have a reputation for being level-headed and calm, and are viewed as desirable for jobs where dependability is a must. Ceratians tends to keep what would be considered a 'traditional extended' family structure here, with parents caring for eggs as a couple, and then extended relatives such as grandparents/aunts/uncles assisting with childcare as the clutch ages. These families tend to settle in one place until the youngest existent clutch comes of age (around 25), and so are usually viewed as stable, consistent parts of the community.
