    Coronation of Preconsul Claudius Julianus Pulcher
    Political event

    In 211 the "People's Proconsul", Claudius Julianus Pulcher was assigned the new Proconsul of the rich but remote province of Portuzia.   Claudius Julianus would strive for Portuzian independence in the following years.

    Birth of Thomas Mallard Saigon
    Life, Birth

    The birth of Thomas Mallard Saigon, a son of the bourgeoisie, who became the leader of West Ilandiam communism.

  • 1918 AD

    25 April

    Creation of the First Communist Party of West Ilandia
    Political event

    Thomas Mallard Saigon used his family fortune to create the first West Ilandian Communist Party (WICO).

  • 1918 AD

    3 May

    Abolition of the first West Ilandian Communist Party (WICO)
    Political event

    The goverment of West Ilandia conducted a raid on the WICO-Headquarters in Framton following the abdication of the party a few minutes earlier.   All prominent communists, including Thomas Mallard Saigon and Jacob Fellar, were arrested for treason and sentenced to death.

  • 1919 AD

    17 December

    Fall of Prime Minister Michael Scot's Cabinet
    Political event

    Following criticism of the opposition on the treatment of the recently arrested communist leaders and a corruption scandal prime minister Michael Scot (74) was unable to keep his coalition together, so his cabinet fell apart. After new elections in January 1920 the communist leaders were freed and founded a new communist party.

    North Ilandia and West Ilandia declare war on Wezonia

    Both West and North Ilandia declare war on Wezonia after the Wezonians attacked their armies. All their allies join in the war.
