Adam's Wedding Band
A heartfelt gift from Keilah to Adam.
History
Willowmoor didn't have a jeweler or any way of making new jewelry at the time that Adam and Keilah got engaged and married. Adam made sure he found her a ring elsewhere prior to their engagement, and that became known as her wedding ring once they were married (it would go through its own evolutions later). Adam still did not have a ring, though, something that privately bothered him.
One day when lamenting to her over his lack of a ring to mark him as taken, she responded by plucking a blade of grass, wrapping it around his finger, and whispering romantic devotions to him to go with it. So enamored was he with her, and so touched by her gesture and words, he decided to make the grass ring his permanent wedding band. He kept it carefully preserved until Willowmoor did have its first jeweler, and they made a pewter ring for him that looks exactly like the grass ring.
Significance
In Adam's lifetime, his wedding ring will be clearly valuable to him since he's never seen without it on. Should he become some historical figure whose importance exceeds his time, the ring will most likely become a prized artifact of national significance, of course...
Come on and wrap that blade of grass
Around my finger like a cast
Come on and wrap that blade of grass
And we'll make it last
This item is one-of-a-kind.

This song is from her most recent album, and as soon as I heard it for the first time, I thought of Adam and Keilah.
