The Gem, also known as Saal’Desol, serves as the capital city for the Lapis Corsairs. Following the loss of Darai, the city's importance has surged, making it the central hub of the Corsairs. Overpopulation has become a significant issue due to the influx of people fleeing Darai after its takeover by the East Azmith Trading Company. Home to the Grand Admiralty of the Lapis Corsairs, the city is renowned as the Jewel of the Azmith coast. The Corsairs maintain good relationships with the Golden City and communities along the Waytos Coast of Eren.
