Karo Cist
Karo Cist was a male Human from the planet Cantares. He known to The Crimson Storm as the bartender and owner of The Sleazy Sandgull on Abafar.
Karo Cist was burly and dark-skinned with long black dreadlocks who was often seen wearing simple sleeveless clothing. On his left wrist, Cist was branded with a symbol of a 'V' above a semicircle denoting him as a prisoner of Virago Solitude.
History
Backstory
Cist made an honest living working at the cantina he owned on Cantares until he was arrested for defending one of his local patrons against an undercover imperial operative. Cist was unaware that the attacker was imperial at the time, yet he was still imprisoned in Virago Solitude for his actions. While imprisoned, he met and formed a friendship with his cellmate, Dione Teruhashi. Years later, there was a mass prison escape courtesy of The Partisans. The two initially escaped but dione insisted on going back in for his wife, Ayla Teruhashi, who was also imprisoned there. Cist reluctantly left his friend behind and fled to Abafar. Cist had heard of Abafar from Dione. When he discovered it was no longer occupied by the empire, he decided it would be an ideal place to find refuge. He restored a cantina named The Sleazy Sandgull in Pons Ora.The Crimson Storm
The Crimson Storm encountered Karo Cist in 19 AGE while searching Pons Ora for Kokomi Teruhashi's parents. Kokomi recognised the brand on Cists arm from her vision on Shili and cist explained what he knew of her parents. He also offered his apologies and his regrets that he did not play a more active role in saving her father Dione. Later the same year, Karo Cist promised to look after Tufren Soa, a troubled Anzat who had killed someone on Spintir. Cist agreed as a favour to The Crimson Storm hoping to redeem himself, at least partially, in Kokomi's eyes.
