Skycleaner Nudibranch

The Skycleaner Nudibranch, known scientifically as Aetheronudis draconis, is a mesmerizing creature found drifting through the air currents around The Origin Peaks. These nudibranchs, typically measuring 1-2 feet in length, boast vibrant, iridescent hues ranging from blues and greens to purples and golds. Their soft, elongated bodies are adorned with frilly, translucent appendages that undulate gracefully, giving them an almost ethereal appearance. Specialized gas-filled bladders within these appendages provide buoyancy, allowing the Skycleaner Nudibranch to float effortlessly.   These creatures are adept at finding dragons, guided by their feather-like antennae that sense the unique magical aura dragons emit. Once they locate a host, they attach themselves to the dragon’s scales, consuming parasites, dead skin, and other debris. This symbiotic relationship benefits both species: dragons enjoy the cleanliness and health that comes with the nudibranchs' attentions, while the nudibranchs receive vital sustenance and safety. Additionally, Skycleaner Nudibranchs lay their eggs on dragon scales, where the young feed and grow until they can float independently.   In the high-altitude, magical environment of the Origin Peaks, Skycleaner Nudibranchs thrive by absorbing ambient magic, which they occasionally release in small bursts to adjust their position in the air. This stored magic can be harvested by skilled magic users or alchemists, making the nudibranchs a valuable resource. Their presence and behavior also serve as indicators of dragon health, with sudden declines potentially signaling environmental issues or disease. Gracefully floating through the skies, these creatures contribute to the well-being of the majestic dragons and add a layer of enchantment to the rugged landscape.
