The Scots (Scottish Gaelic: Albannaich) are an ethnic group native to Scotland. It is also used to refer to any citizen of Scotland, regardless of ethnic origin.
There are also large concentrations of people with Scots ancestry in Canada, New Zealand, the United States, and Northen Ireland.
