Eversun
A star which was trapped in a distortion of spacetime during an ancient Celestial war, meaning it exists as a star, supernova, and black hole simultaneously.
Temporal radiation makes the Eversun's system uninhabitable, but some skilled Ravager and Smuggler pilots have cultivated the art of passing through the fringes of the system at just the right moment and angle to be jumped forward in time a few hours or days, reducing a journey time without changing its length. It's also an effective way of escaping any enemies or law enforcement who might be in pursuit, as even if they also possess the skills to enter the system, the temporal distortion means doing so will only ever increase, rather than decrease, the gap between the two ships.
