Session 14: Second Mark secured moving on to complete the Contract.

The Crew of the Rising Shadow wake up on the morning of day 86 in the year 1106 of the third Imperium on the planet of Paal in the Paal system. The crew is at the Low Port of the City of Zero. They have just completed finding there second mark that was issued to them by the The Blue Rose corporaton. The Choam corporation one of several banking orgnizations had tasked them to find the stolen scout ship CSS Whispering Shadow. While looking for the Whispering Shadwow the crew stumbled upon a illeagal drug smuggling operation that was using a Sunflower plant as a front to move there product. The purpel colored drug is new to the Trojoan Reach and the effects of the drug are unknown except that it has a severe reaction to the Aslan. Rumors of this drug have been in the Third Imperium intellegence commuinty, but had been confirmed until now. The space value on this drug is unkown. Lieutentant Buford T. Pussor was leading the investigation along with lieutentant Christine Cagney.   Rudolf who have been found knocked out by a unknown source was recovering once again in sick bay. The crew had found him in the borading area of the Low Port the night before. Kim Kardashian and limo that he had rode with were missing. Dr House was able to determine that he was knocked out by some kind of drug. Obswald bounty bots that he has sent out the night before after finding Rudolf were offline. The last known location was near the Rusty Wrench spacer diner in the warehouse district. Rudolf also discovered that his Blue Rose Corporation Id Badge that also gave him access to the ship was missing. The brick of the new drug Nebula Dust was also stolen that was to be brought back to the ship to be analized by the ships doctor Dr. House. Captain Birdlerher called for a crews meeting in the crew quarters of the ship to discuss the days plans. They needed to some how talk the Zero Police department into giving them a brick of the Nebula dust so that Dr. House could hopefuly find a antidote to counter the effects of the drug. Ferris Blackclaw though stabel and alive was still in danger of dieing if House could not come up with something to counter the effect of the drug. Cortana was told to do her best on locating any of the Kardashian which would be hard considering the TL of the planet. Obswald, Captain Birdlerher, and Rudolf went to the Rusty Wrench where the last know location of the bountybots were discoverd. there the three bots were found and had been shut down by an EMP device that was stuck to the side of the heads of the robots. Once removed it showed the Bountybots engageed with Kim Kardashian limo shooting it to pieces. There were two dead Aslan in side of the limo. Several blood samples were taken back the Rising Shadow where Dr. House was able to determine five different blood types. Two Aslan, two human females, and one Vagar. Obswald was able to discover a hidden computer in the limo showing the security system of the Sunflower plant. Also half of the brick remained in the car. Lieutentant Cagney was leading this murder investigation and wanted to know what these robots were and there purpose. This was 5th and 6th Aslan murdered that bore the markings of the a orange rose on there bodies. Kim Kardashian was still missing and presumed to be in Danger. She was not lookiing foward to haveing to tell her mother Kris Jenner about her missing daughter. After much debate and disscusion captain Birdlerher was able to keeep the half brick of Nebula Dust to get to Dr. House. Then  Captain Birdlerher asked Obswald, and Rudolf to accompany him to the CSS Whispering Shadow to began preflight checks giving orders to his newly hired Crew member Khaara a female Aslan to fly the Rising Shadow. The Rising Shadow was given a free refill of refined fuel for finding the missing fuel that was stolen. Then both crew on each ship began preflight checks and left the Planet of Paal heading for the World System.    During Preflight checks the Libarary was checked and a secure link that was passworked protected. There was information on the drive that would need to be hacked into to find the information out or somebody who can find a way to access the information. Captain Birdlerher flew the old scout ship like it was nothing. Meanwhile Khaara was a little rusty espically at flying Drinaxing naval ships that are over 200 plus years old. Plus the TL of this ship was above her usuall skill level. 12 hours later both ships were entering into Jump space heading the the system known as the world system. Most of the population of The World have no idea that anything exists outside their space station. They do not even know they are on a space station – they assume that the entire universe is a crumbling ring of corridors and hydroponics bays and overcrowded habitat modules. Only the command staff – the gods and rulers of The World – know the truth. As a nonindustrial world, it requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. The need to import most manufactured and high technology goods drives the price of these goods up in the open market. The space station is a disaster just waiting to have one.  While in jump Space Dr House was able to find an antidote to counter act the effects of the drug.  When they arrived in the system he finally woke up haveing dreams of a female aslan holding his paw and encourging him to fight and stay alive. He saw his dad inviting him to join him in the light. The first thing he wasnted was meat. Ferris does not know that they have left the Paal system and are two parsecs to the rimworld in the sytem known as the world. Captain Birdlerher went into the space station looking for the open market where he paid 500 credits for five pounds of beef, chicken, and pork like substannce. in the process of paying for this he noticed the clerk smirking after paying the transaction. Then the confrentation was on as it was discoverd that the clerk had actually charged him $1,000 credtis instead. Pulling out his pistol and sword he demanded compensation for the over charge. The manager of the store got involved and made sure that his $500.00 credets were remburesed, but was not going to compensate him for the accident that his machine did. The crew of both ships will be here for 24 hours or more to get fuel and process the fuel to make it refined so that they don't do any damage to there ship.
