Kasiyl was born into the Ahroay’if, a fiercely proud Aslan minor clan renowned for its militarism and bitter legacy. Five centuries ago, it was the Ahroay’if who led the first planetary strike that brought down the Sindalian Empire, devastating Drinax with nuclear bombardment and orbital bombardment. What was once a garden world became a burnt husk of survival domes and radioactive scars.
While Kasiyl is generations removed from that ancient war, his name carries the weight of that sin—especially now that he serves the very monarch of the world his clan destroyed.
Once a rising noble and duelist of notable skill, Kasiyl was cast out from his clan after an illegal assassination during a sanctioned War of Assassins. The weapon he used—a concealed energy blade—was judged a violation of ritual honor. The Tokohfealrs clan demanded retribution; the Council complied, stripping him of title and sending him into exile.
Now, he walks the palace halls of Drinax as a living paradox—an Aslan noble who advises the descendants of those his ancestors nearly annihilated.
