Bugbear
Bugbears are the result of mutation by goblins who have spent much time, alone or in groups, in the wilderness, particularly more temperate-to-cold environments. Bugbears, unlike most goblins, who are hairless, are covered in a thick, shaggy coat. They are tall, strong, and hardy. Many of them are mistreated, along with the usual mistreatment of goblins, making them result to a life of crime, though plenty are peaceful nature-dwellers.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Like goblins, bugbears are agendered though are often coded male due to preconceptions about their harsh look.

History
The crows caw all around, as the moonlight portends a coming dark. I hunt the hare, my hairs on end, for I hear the howling of wolves. The night is mine, the darkness is beyond, and the quiet madness of nature solemnly shudders around me as I draw my bow toward the hare, and I feel alive. The string snaps, the arrow is loosed, and the hare is dead. Though its killing brings no pleasure, I feel alive, for the woods are mine and I live!
