Orbulin, the
The flying continent of Orbulin, proportioned to Autochton's Organ-Continents like a head to like-sized limbs, rises and lowers itself on a mysterious, millenia-long period. Cresting over the Blight like a moon, but really composed of the missing eye socket from which the Eye of Autochton was liberated, its appearance is feared by the denizens of that place.
Its inner space comprises a hanger larger than the Realm's own continent.
Geography
A great orb made of brass, shadow, smoke and a crystalline lid larger than the inner sea in Creation.
Ecosystem
Only Gremlins and related from Autochtonia are known to be able to survive the heavy blight zone inside the eye:
Blight-Zombies
Oil-Ghizzers
Steam-Furies
Lightning-kobold
Crystal-Anemonies
Metal-nudibranch
Ecosystem Cycles
Each season lasts 20 centuries, and is exacerbated by any light exposure above candlelight strength.
Climate
The inner cavity has its own weather, mostly drizzle and rain, but every twenty years, a great storm scours the inside with thunder, lightning and winds of surpassing strength.
History
A great geomantic explosion, a discharge of essence surpassing any since the Primordial War dislodged one of Autochton's eye, which became the roving, human-sized artifact known as the eye of Autochton. For millenia, the Orbulin has flown over Autochtonia with no clear direct path, but recently it has assumed station over the Blight.
