Priest

Priest is a man that owns and runs Metro Stop 99 as the manager.

While Priest doesn't necessarily live for gossip, she often pays attention to what the guests who arrive at her gas station talk about, and could give pointers to those who ask, for a possible price.

She is seen as a caring parent to those who know her well, and her gas station is often recommended to the wandering travelers of Herudumra.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Priest is a strong and well-built man. Her muscles have not withered with age, but she must care for them.

Facial Features

Priest has dark ember, streamlined horns that curve over the top of her scalp and curl upward. The ends are tipped-black, almost like cold steel after being heated.
Her face is mean-looking and set, but she just has a sort of "resting bitch face". Priest's face looks this way when she isn't trying to emote or when she's thinking. The actual face she makes when she's angry is much, much scarier.

Identifying Characteristics

Priest has a reptilian tail, which can be easily hidden under her clothes, but she prefers to just have it rest by her feet. Her hands are a dark grey, and she has a large burn scar on her right hand.

Apparel & Accessories

She likes wearing neat and monochrome clothing, and usually pins, sews, or irons on the gas station's logo onto her work clothes. When not working, she usually wears overalls, a grey short-sleeved shirt, and work boots.
Priest wears thick, dark gloves that almost match the color of her hands. She might not always wear the left glove, but she always wears the right one to hide a burn scar. She'll only take off the right glove if she trusts you.

Specialized Equipment

Priest always wears a toolbelt. Usually there is a toolbox or a hammer or wrench attached. On rare occasions, she'll mix potions and attach them, but this is usually in preparation of an adventure.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Priest comes from the planet Vinhur before she escaped to Herudumra and bought a gas station. Her relationship with her family is a little more than complicated, to say the least. Her older sister, Rebec, had been killed five years prior to Priest's sudden departure, and her father had "suddenly disappeared".
Priest lived for a while as just her and her mother, Maria, but she'd eventually saved enough credits to bribe a cargo manager so she could slip away. Priest hadn't the faintest clue of were she'd end up, but she got lucky with Herudumra, as it is known for it's calmer and kinder nature. Priest bought up Metro Stop 99 from a trio who ran the chain, and has been taking care of the location and everyone in it since.

Gender Identity

Priest is a trans man. However, she prefers to use she/her pronouns to be more non-conforming. Priest finds the gender binary restricting.

Employment

Priest doesn't like talking about her jobs before managing Metro Stop 99, but she does say that, through her hardships, she's glad she kept her pursuit up to be where she is today.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

Priest just wants a peaceful and calm life. Her childhood was rough, and now she just wants to give others the family she never had.

Savvies & Ineptitudes

Priest is quite the skillful mechanic. Unfortunately, she knows more about cars than she does about stoves, and her cooking usually ends up burnt. The only "cooking" she is good at is alchemy, but this is a side of her that is rarely seen because she doesn't go on adventures often.

Likes & Dislikes

She likes being referred to in a masculine manner. For example, she would like the phrase "Her majesty, the king" over being referred to as a queen.
Priest hates how feminine she looks, but luckily she doesn't mind the sound of "she/her". But she might be... less forgiving if you call her anything feminine like woman or miss.

Vices & Personality flaws

Priest is often very quiet, and this makes it seem like she is hard to talk to. She is also very protective of herself, making it harder for her and others to open up about what worries them.
She has a bandage on the burn scar on her right hand, and she often ties the bandage too tightly. This is bad for her hand, and is very painful, but she believes she deserves it.

Hygiene

She is often the one tasked with cleaning the tables and countertops of Metro Stop 99, but she always has dirt and grease under her nails and on her skin.

Social

Family Ties

Priest treats her employees like family. They do not have to pay to live at her gas station, and they can do mostly whatever they please. She's like a big brother to them, or a father.
She also had fondness for her old family, but she knows she can't go back now. Priest's reappearance would likely endanger her mother, and she can't say her father is quite well anymore.

Social Aptitude

Priest is a good listener, preferring to not speak during conversations. She often misses social ques, however, and is often silent because she can't tell when she should butt in on the discussion to offer her own advice or expertise.
Unfortunately, Priest often comes off as cold and calculating.

Wealth & Financial state

Priest doesn't like wealth. She doesn't pay her employees, but she also doesn't buy things. Nothing in the store is imported except for the gas. She favors using the sales from anything bought to pay for gas and to maintain the gas station.
