Metro Stop 99

Metro Stop 99 is a gas station with a train-theme. It prides itself with being "the last stop before the end of the world", though no one truly knows what that means. The ominous text can be seen on the sign out by the road.

Metro Stop 99 is a block, concrete building. It has a cool-gray and pastel blue paint job, but some sections of the walls are discolored greens from age. The dimensions of the convenience store are rather small, measuring 70ft x 110ft. The walls almost look like they'd collapse in the areas where the vibrant paint isn't covering them, and with the vines on the backside of the building, you would think that this was an abandoned station during some sort of nuclear apocalypse.

The building consists of an outdoor fuel pump under a roofed area, a convenience store, a repair garage to the left of the store, and a housing apartment for the workers on the back of the station.

The employees at the station are Priest , the manager and owner of the station, Rosmarin, the assistant manager, Vintage - also known as Retro - a fuel attendant, Psy, a cashier in the convenience store, Arcade, the gamemaster of the arcade corner, Eleven, and older cashier who doubles as a fuel attendant, and Claude, the newest additional fuel attendant.
There are also some costumers who are well-recognized, such as Kyle or Rune.

Purpose / Function

Metro Stop 99 was seemingly only designed to be a generic gas station. However, its soothing aura notably changes those who visit, and seems to make them more understandable about the situation of others.

Alterations

Many changes have been made to the convenience store part of the station, including a boarded up room which can be accessed from the roof.
Arcade, one of the workers, asked for an arcade corner, which later got added.

History

Metro Stop 99 was originally owned by an elderly trio who ran a few other "rest stops". The gas station was not a one-of-a-kind thing, and there were several other Metro Stops with other numbers along the roads to tourist attractions. Priest bought Metro Stop 99 in 2800, SEE.
