Chilgur-Boko
Chief of Merkit tribe and enemy of Temujin
Temujin's mother Hoelun was stolen from the brother of Chilgur-Boko by Yesugei. Borte was kidnapped by Chilgur-Boko as revenge and raped by and then married to him for a brief time. This threw into doubt the paternity of Borte and Temujin's eldest child, their son Jochi.
Chilgur-Boko was the father of Khulan. His principal wife was Bulgan, who Borte murdered just as Temujin rescued her.
