Starfall City

Warm Lake

The pretty part of the city. Warm Lake gets its name from the artificial lake built into the mesa. The District is also protected by an energy dome that supplies the tourists and yuppies with a more comfortable climate. Situated on a mesa over looking the sprawl of the city.  

Financial District

Board rooms and banks tower above the Lower City. Gotta let the riff raff know where they stand. Of course in the grand scheme of things the CEOs on Sotys are little more than middle managers for the galactic corps.  

The Ship Yards

The real reason Starfall isn't a ghost town unlike other cities on Sotys. If there is one thing people here want to do it is leave. Of course the vast deserts and bountiful mineral wealth of the planet certainly help in the manufactur and testing of starships.  

The Foundry

Industrial district named for the massive foundry's and smelters that turn the minerals of Sotys into valuable metals.   

Lower City

The Slums were gangers rule and decent folk, if such a thing even exists anymore, keep their heads down so they don't lose them.  

'Public City

Though Sotys and the Voqev system at large are not under the jurisdiction of the Nimbus Republic, that hasn't stopped the large number of Republic citizens, beauracrats, and most importantly soldiers from staking their claim. 'Public City consists of a military base and embassy just outside the Starfall proper.

Kranite Astro

An arm of the trans galactic corporation. The city's largest employer.

Ex soldiers who enjoy the freedom that being outside the Republic provides them. Sworn enemies of the Lower City Lowlifes.  

Lower City Lowlifes

Lower class gang of Sotys natives. The largest gang in the city. Sworn foe of the 'Public Enemies.

Bikers with ambition to join a galactic syndicate. Led by Paet Do'donna.

Skin heads and soccer hooligans.

Starfall gets its name for it amazing view of the frequent meteor showers that occur on the planet.

Most of the city is brutalist and utilitarian. Though Warm Lake strives for a Miami Vice type of aesthetic.

The average temperature ranges from -30 f to 25 f with very little precipitation.
