Origins & History

Dwarves were shaped and formed by Dorok - The Divine Hammer, they revere him as their divine ancestor. Since this day, during the age of Darkness, the dwarves have lived beneath the world. Feeling most comfortable when they get to dig into a mountain or cave system. Over the millennia, they have carved out great cities in their ancestral mountain ranges. Their politics and internal struggle often reflected the outside world.

Culture & Society

No one is more open than a dwarven family. It is not uncommon for half of a clan to belong to a different race. Many dwarves greatly enjoy intermarrying with other races and happily welcome them into their homes. Just as Dorok commands, the family is not bound by blood, but by a shared feeling of belonging.
Generally they are the most accepting and innovative of the ancestral races. Just don't insult their beards, that is bound to result in chaos.
“They look as rough as the stone they mine, but are as welcoming as any great tavern keep.”
